Inner City Aquatic has unrivalled access to three top aquatic and recreation centres in Victoria through our partnership with Yarra Leisure. Click on the location for directions to each centre.

1) The Richmond Recreation Centre (11-15 Gleadell St, Richmond), which is an 8 lane, 50-metre indoor pool facility with a top class gymnasium. This pool was used as a training facility for the Commonwealth Games in 2006 and the Melbourne Olympics in 1956.

2) The Collingwood Leisure Centre (Corner Turnbull & Hoddle St, Clifton Hill), which is 7 lane, 25-metre indoor facility with a top class gymnasium, was recently renovated and reopened in 2012. The pool has been used for numerous competitions as a popular short-course venue.

3) The Fitzroy Swimming Pool (160 Alexandra Parade, Fitzroy), is Melbourne's premier 10 lane, 50-metre outdoor heated pool, with a gymnasium, spa, sauna & steam room. Opened in 1908. After a brief closure in 1994, the pool was re-opened following a grassroots community campaign to save the much-loved facility.


RRC and CLC both provide the following services and facilities for those with disabilities:

•   Ramp access to the centres
•   Ramp access to the pool (CLC and FSP only)
•   A pool hoist for easy access in and out of the pool
•   Disabled change room facilities
•   Specific gymnasium equipment designed for people of all abilities
•   Lift access to group fitness room at RRC
